One of our favorite books is called Here Lies the Librarian. As with A Long from Chicago and Fair Weather we could not limit ourselves to just 20 minutes a day of family reading when we read this book!

 

Photography is one of my main hobbies, I am really enjoying trying to catch the lightning as it lights up the sky.  Of course working on this website and the other sites belonging to our family is also fun.  Please check back and see what new things we add...

Twenty Minutes a Day

Read to your children
Twenty minutes a day;
You have the time,
And so do they.
Read while the laundry is in the machine;
Read while the dinner cooks;
Tuck a child in the crook of your arm
And reach for the library books.
Hide the remote,

Michener adopted Texas as his home state and donated much of his art collection to the University of Texas.
